Fully Draining The Transmission?

I was planning to do a full fluid flush on the transmission and saw that the capacity with coolers is an additional ~1.5qts. Does draining from the drain plug remove all the fluid from the cooler + lines as well?

Never bothered, always just done a drain and fill on my manual.

If its auto, its even worst since you'll need a machine to push all the fluid out or all the lines and converter.
