CT5-V Default "Mode" when Starting car

I have been using Sport mode and Competitive driving enabled the last few days. I am noticing that the car is now always starting in Sport mode. I thought it defaulted to Tour mode on the next start cycle (or My Mode but My Mode was not on in this case). Anyone else notice this?

Sport mode is one of the persistent values. My Mode, Tour Mode, Sport Mode.

Ahhh that is good to know ...didn't realize that ....the car feels so good in Sport mode + Comp Driving

No. It will start in the mode it was when you turned it off. Except V mode. If you’re in V mode and turn it off, I think it’ll be in sports mode on next start. I like this, past cars like my. 350 and 911s always started in normal mode, regardless of the mode when you turned it off
