I'm not gonna hold my breath for a 2027, I am just relaying what a couple of the sales associates have told me.

I am still in the process of getting/finding an allocation and if not I'll probably buy off the lot somewhere...

Also, 2027 is when all passenger vehicles are required to have Advanced Impaired Driving Prevention Technology as stardard equipment, so cameras watch you while you drive

It might be worth calling some of the dealers you already called to double check at a later date. They get allocations for various cars every Thursday.

Has law been passed? I thought it was still out for debate as to how and whether they were going to approve it.

EDIT and UPDATE: NHTSA tells Congress this is not ready. This article is from the other day. Interesting, quick read:

Thanks for clearing that up, looks like we're safe for the time being. My family has newer Toyota/Lexus cars and those things ping at you when the car thinks the driver is distracted, it's quite annoying.

One is Genesis Cadillac in Michigan. They proudly touted they were only MSRP for many years and now that production is ending they are asking 15k over

I just picked up a 2026 CT4 V Blackwing and when researching the only "dealer" that was charging over sticker was Marshall Goldman. For those of you that do not know them they do not sell brand new but they do sell very low milage exotics. They were 10K over the national average on a 2023 I was looking at. The have a 2oth anniversary edition CT5 V BW they are asking 170k for. They just lowered it this week from 180K. They also had a 2026 CT5-V BW with 800 miles on it that sticker for 128K, they were asking 143K and it just sold but I don't know what it actually sold for. I have a lot of dealers still chasing me and I actually had 1 local dealer offer a CT4 or CT5 BW for 1K off sticker and another offer a 132K CT5 BW for 2K off sticker. The deals are out there if you are patient. There aren't a terrible amount of these out there but there are quite a few that have been on lots for 30 days or more.
