I've got a '22 CT5BW 6spd that was burning nearly a quart of oil every 500 miles (with normal driving) with 29k miles on the clock. Dealer scoped it and said there were hot spots on the cylinder, so they replaced the motor.

Around 500 miles on the new motor it began knocking and I had it towed. Dealer ordered another motor which is going in this week.

Anyone have a similar story? Or do I just have bad luck?

Dang sorry to hear but that is absolutely some bad luck. And here I thought this was a for sale thread.

I had a motor blow on track and then the replacement the dealer didn't get the pulley aligned properly so the belt blew up and the new one overheated. I didn't trust the new motor or any work the dealer had done so I lemon lawed the car and GM had to take it back. Lots of other issues with the motor replacement (missing bolts etc.) caused by the dealer not doing a good job. Didn't trust the car any longer.

Wow.....multiple replacements !!

Sorry y'all had to go through all that.

i've still only got 12K after nearly 3 1/2 years. Hopefully enough use to sort things out if they were going to happen.............but you never really know.
