CT5-V CT5-V BW F1 Collector Series

CT5-V Model
Someone on the CT5V Facebook page claims they were offered an allocation from a dealership to the tune of $360K for one of these F1 editions. This is one of the dumbest cash grabs I’ve seen in a while.

It's doubtful that allocations have even been assigned yet.

Does Caddy smoke crack? I want to meet the sucker, I mean buyer of one of these. I have bridges he'd probably be interested in purchasing next.

Talked to the GM at my dealer today, and he told me Cadillac is not doing allocations the traditional way. Cadillac will decide themselves which customers get these cars. I'm guessing they go to VERY loyal customers, collectors, and celebrities.

Here's what I told him, "Whoever they pick better know the names of all 22 drivers on the grid!" :Steer

One thing I don't understand... if this is an F1 inspired car, why manual transmission??

Here is the text of the letter I got from my dealer today about this. I’m declining.

I wanted to personally reach out regarding a very special opportunity that just became available through Cadillac.

Cadillac is releasing an ultra-limited CT5-V Blackwing F1® Collector Series, created to celebrate their entry into Formula 1. This is not a typical production vehicle—only 24 units are being allocated for the entire U.S., making it one of the rarest Cadillacs ever produced.

Because of the exclusivity, these vehicles are not available through a traditional order process. Instead, Cadillac is carefully reviewing a select group of clients through a VIP consideration process. Expressing interest places you into that candidate pool, but final selections will be made directly by Cadillac.

If you’d like to be considered, Cadillac is requesting a brief client profile—essentially your connection to performance vehicles, your experience with Cadillac, and what makes this particular Collector Series meaningful to you. I would be happy to guide you through that and personally submit everything on your behalf.

For context, this vehicle is expected to fall into the upper-$200K range, and selected clients will move forward through a formal allocation and agreement process.

If this is something that interests you, let me know and I’ll make sure Cadillac has a complete and compelling picture of you as a client.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Just learned the F1 edition price is $260,000. Sheesh, that is ridiculous

I think they missed a design opportunity w/this one. They should have made the interior an all white leather. That would have really popped against the all black exterior and it would have matched the team colors. It’s too blacked out imo. I think all the special editions should have come w/a power bump. The sad thing is within a year or two Cadillac will offer this “exclusive” color on the Escalade V or the Curated by Cadillac like they did w/the Magnus Metal Frost of the Le Monstre Edition.

Just got back from the Cadillac V-Performance Academy and one of my classmates who owns Le Monstre Edition #46 showed his letter from Val Ward Cadillac in Tampa. He said he didn’t pay an ADM for his Le Monstre and they won’t charge him an ADM if he buys this. Whether you believe him or not is up to you. If Sewell Cadillac gets an allocation they won’t sell over MSRP.
