CT5-V CT5-V BW F1 Collector Series

CT5-V Model
Of all the limited edition Blackwings, this one will be worth the most one day without question. Good luck to anyone trying to get one for anywhere near MSRP.

Man I called this earlier! 26 will be made - all in manual and appears to have a tune or larger blower from escalade v for power output of 685hp and 673tq. Looks great but not a fan of the boring black interior (Le Monstre wins there).

They should have introduced a new color at least. Yeah the name is different but to me is just another matte black finish.
Agree. Should have carried over components of the f1 livery to the exterior and interior.

17 extra hp! Not just a sticker package.

Yep and that's is why this version will be the most desirable in the future.
I disagree, but perhaps I have a little bias. The Le Monstre has more desirable interior and unique blue carbon fiber that carries into the interior.
However, the larger supercharger is awesome. Cadillac really missed the mark because they could have made it look really special. I am thinking something similar to the RS6 Avant GT (pic) but with the F1 Livery. JMHO

Needs some contrast. White calipers with black lettering would've been cool and bring it closer to the F1 car livery. Overall cool car for a wealthy car collector but for some of us mere mortals that actually want to drive the car, it would scare the shit out of me how much $$$ I'd be losing per mile driven after paying a massive ADM.

Mark my words, GM sucks at maintaining exclusivity. There is no way this higher output LT4 stays exclusive to these 26 cars.

It ain’t over till the fat lady sings. Until GM releases the “final edition” or whatever they ultimately call it, there is at least one more special edition sticker package before the end.

I think the Blackwing will get a truncated 27 model year, and the 685 hp version will more widely available, if not just standard.

I also predict that the precision package suspension will be the standard, or some newly refined compromise between the standard and precision suspensions will be the lone option, (it makes no sense to have two separate suspension packages in such a low volume car at the end of its life cycle).

To start - I truly want to believe you. 26 units is super low numbers considering they had some work to do to make it happen. The door stamping as one example. That being said, they are already offering 2 suspension options and the investment has been made and is in production.

The cost argument of 2 vs 1 more new simplified suspension doesn’t track if they need to develop and release a third option. The volumes aren’t there for any of them at this point unless people start posting that they changed the steering wheel badge to add another digit.

I can’t see them producing a ‘27 5BW without extending overall CT5 production. The ‘26 model year is already shaping up to be a really long one if they build until end of the year.
