Hello! Brand new to this forum & I am looking for help. My CT4V Blackwing needs a new grille. My car caught some rocks on the highway & cracked a few pieces off. I spoke to my local Cadillac dealership & they quoted me $1900 for parts plus another $450 for labor. I found the upper & lower grille on gmpartscenter.net , the upper grille is part number 85516414 (I have ACC) and the lower grille is 84433208. Buying these parts from gmpartscenter.net would be about $1100, and doing it myself with a buddy, is about half the price of going through Cadillac. I wanted to see if anyone could answer a couple of questions I have…
1). Does it seem like these are the correct parts to replace the upper & lower grille?
2). Is this a project that me & a friend who is mechanically inclined could pull off ourselves, or would I be wise to just go through the dealership?
