CT4 V blackwing tail light removal

I have a 2024 CT4 Blackwing and would like to remove my tail lights to have a local body shop paint them. I’m not sure how to do it. Any advice?
It's my understanding that the bumper has to be removed.

I sent you the service manual instructions. Yes, the bumper cover needs to come off.

Here is step 1 from the service manual for the CT4:

Likely to get access to these two bolts in step 17. Also, you are supposed to replace the three retainers shown in step 20. That's after you remove trunk trim side gutter, rear trunk trim, and trunk side trim.

Why are you having them painted ? Are you doing a spray tint ? They make a wrap tint (multiple shades) that can be applied by a professional installer, without all the labor of removing a bumper. And it can easily be removed after you get the ticket.
