2022 CT4-V BW
I just purchased a 6000 ELX to use with my CT4. Does anyone have any tips on how to position it and if any block other than what is included would be best?

It looks like I have to push the front of the frame all the way up against the front tire for it to line up with the lifting points on the car (assuming front pinch weld and rear subframe). And it looks close width wise whether you can get both lift points on the frame while keeping it parallel to the car.

I know people use this with our cars so there must be way to do it. Thanks for the help.

If it's really close but works, get it lined up and put some scotch tape markers on the rocker panel edges to make alignment easier next time. My fear with it pushed up against the front tire is the car might get a bit stuck coming down like it did on my son's Camaro a few years ago (Alpha platform also). I'd probably just turn them to run under the car like I do for the 5BW and our X5.

I believe the 6000 ELX was designed for Teslas. It is the longest model they make.

Thanks for the replies. Consensus here (earlier threads) seemed to be to get the ELX. Others like @Melon had found the SLX and (for the CT5) even the TLX too short. I would guess the TLX would work for a ct4 but can't confirm.

Yes, ELX recommendation is for the 5BW. I purchased the 7000TLX, but haven't actually lifted the car with it. I've used it on my full size truck.

According to the quickjack measuring guide and some past users here, quickjack generally and the ELX specifically works for the ct4. I am hoping someone can share advice based on their successful experience.

The main challenge I see relates to the CT4 weirdness of having to lift on the rear subframe brace and not the pinch weld at the back. The brace is offset inward a few inches from the pinch weld so it looks marginal to get the front weld and the back subframe on a parallel quickjack. If there is any way to get a ZL1 lift pad on that rear pinch weld so it can be the lifting point that would make life so much easier! It would be perfect fit.

This is a reminder why we have that amazing 20 page thread on how to lift a ct4.
