- V-Series Cadillac(s)?
- 2024 CT5 V Blackwing
Maybe good news for the Balckwings to stay in the line-up:
The Drive (7/30, Feder) reports Cadillac is experiencing a significant sales increase, with retail sales up 19% year-to-date. Cadillac’s Global Marketing Director Brad Franz said that “the first half of the year has been the automaker’s best in nearly 20 years.” The automaker’s electric vehicle push is contributing to this growth, with the Lyriq and Optiq models leading their segments. Franz said, “Cadillac’s sold over 60,000 Lyriqs in the last three years.” The Lyriq has a 71% conquest rate, drawing new customers to the brand. Cadillac’s V-Series models are also seeing record sales, attracting younger and more affluent buyers. Although Cadillac has abandoned its plan for a fully electric lineup within five years, it continues to launch new EVs as planned, including the upcoming 2026 Lyriq-V, marking the first electric V-Series model.
