Your welcome > happy to help a fellow BW owner. FYI: I got mine printed at Staples.I'm aware. I don't want it digitally. I want a small form-factor book in my glovebox like I've had with every new car since... forever.

That's actually pretty amazing and unusual. It makes me happy that GM spent time developing brake cooling solutions for the 1% of people who actually take their 5BW to the track.
Here in Canada 99% of the 5BW owners track their cars.It makes me happy that GM spent time developing brake cooling solutions for the 1% of people who actually take their 5BW to the track.
Yes it applies to both, but those deflectors are only there if you have base aero. If you have carbon fiber 1 package they aren’t there. The front tire deflector are held on with four T15 screws per side. The owners manual says to remove them for track use (which I assume applies to both iron and CCB). I can see how they would reduce air flow to the control arm deflector.

I know the CF front spoiler is different from the base one but it does not look that much different where I would think Cadillac would also want to have front tire deflectors for the street. But I am just a rando on the internet and not an engineer so lots of things are beyond my understanding.Yes it applies to both, but those deflectors are only there if you have base aero. I put the OEM spitter on after I bought the car. I have the plastic parts that replace the rubber tire deflector. After looking over things I went with the original pre-swap rubber deflectors. I guess that was at least a year and a half ago. I suspect the reason is for aerodynamics, which I don’t care that much about.I know the CF front spoiler is different from the base one but it does not look that much different where I would think Cadillac would also want to have front tire deflectors for the street.
