Blackwings and Watches

My first Rolex is special to me also and it's one of my favorite watches... Wearing it today, and I'm also driving my wife's V-LYRIQ..
Those Lyriq's look so good. Every time I see one I think to myself "thats a great looking car". I wish Cadillac would make a hot hatch blackwing with those lines. Maybe they will and it will be why the CT4 is being discontinued.

I finally remembered to take the watch photo. It’s been a few weeks since I adjusted the time, looks like it’s drifted a minute.

This thing is CrAZy quick, quicker than our Blackwings, don't roast me because it's just a fact..... Quicker, not faster.... 0-60 It can eat a Blackwing

Speaking of watches, I picked up a new Pebble a few months ago. Yes, the original smart watch is back--better than ever. Probably not in the same price range as many other watches here, at $149 plus shipping, but it's the perfect watch for tech nerds! :)

Here's the obligatory picture in my 5BW. Nice, clean presentation of month, day, hour, minute, and second in this watch face ... if you can read binary, obviously.

There’s a new one?! The Pebble is underrated for sure. In relation to the Apple Watch I think of it as the equivalent of the Palm Pilot to the iPhone …

I like how one of their marketing pitches is "hackable".

Do you actually read binary well enough that you immediately register your numbers or do you have to do a quick tally in your head each time? Knowing your format I can read it, but at the same time I have to head math/counting to read it and it is not quick.

Depends on the number. Sometimes you have to think about it for a little bit for the higher numbers. For example, anything staring with 11xxx you have to had 48 to a number you already know, or 10xxx you have to add 32. Other than that it's pretty quick.

Have you had it that way for a while? I'd imagine you'd get used to the higher numbers once you've run it for a long time.
I used to have a reverse clock and took no time to read once I got used to it (much simpler than bit clock). Funny part was after a while it started making me misread normal analog clocks

I change watch faces periodically so it's not instant. When it does become instant, I change it up. There are also other watch faces that make you think in other ways, various geometric designs.
