Blackwings and Watches

Nice.. looks like its been never been used. Collectible?
I bought it brand new very recently in that picture and now I've been wearing it regularly. It's a great watch for only about $100 purchased from Walmart. It's a good size and very comfortable and durable alongside. I'm pleased with it.

I could take a picture with the BW but this watch, aside from being a Moser a watchmaker on my want list for awhile, spoke to me because of my 2018 Camaro mostly. The watch is cool and fun. Night shot was just to see how the glow would look.

One of my weaknesses is spatial awareness. This meaning: knowing where your extremeties are in space around you at all times. This relatively poor spatial awareness means that I'm unable to have nice watches. Nothing fancy or the like. I am constantly going around corners or through doorways or walking next to cabinets or some such and

WHAM!!!

My left arm almost inevitably collides with something. I've destroyed a few watches that way.

Casio G-Shock is the order of the day, and I wouldn't call them fancy or pretty or upscale. What they can do is go through the wall/cabinet/brick/etc that my arm hits, and keep on keepin' on. Believe me: I've inadvertantly tested that several times.

One can spend a lot on a G-Shock, $5K easy. I have a cheap one for working on cars since I don’t mind it getting greasy. For most other rough stuff I wear a Tactix 8. I like the AB app. Some people wear a Rolex for working on their vehicles. They can take the abuse. It’s a psychological thing, I just can’t see beating up a nice and shiny Rolex. I’m sure with proper counseling I could overcome my inhibitions.
