I had both at the same time, sold the Z06 and sent my 5BW 6 speed to LMR it's now 863rwhp. The Z06 just has no torque, its only fun from 5000-8600rpm's. Should edit my photo since I sold the car.

I'm on my second car with the LT4. The low-end torque out of this engine is addicting as hell! Not surprised to hear this. Someone on the Corvette Forum mentioned that he downgraded from a C8 Z06 to a C8 Stingray because, in order to enjoy the Z06, he had to drive it in the upper RPM range—which he felt was unsafe for street driving.
Your comment comes across more pissy than mine. Apparently you are very upset at my comments on the forum, which means my comments do matter. The options/opinions don’t matter to you, but they obviously do to a lot of people because there aren’t a ton of 1LZs compared to 2LZ and 3LZ. You are already spending six figures might as well have some nice creature comforts. The rear view camera mirror, which I believe only comes with and is available on the 2LZ and up is a huge help with the obvious blind spots of the car.
If you are only using it for a track car or strictly weekend canyon carver, sure 1LZ all day. If you actually use it more than that it’s 114k for 1LZ and 9k more for some really nice options at 123k/2LZ.
You always get so pissy when someone has a different opinion or experience from you. I don’t give a shit what or how people spend their money on cars, was only giving a more detailed write up/opinion from only get 1LZ.
I’m lucky enough to have both.Think I might get a Z06, been looking and great deals out there right now with prices lower than MSRP. Good selection too before the 26 refresh. Thinking carbon fiber wing package and front end lift, looked into the Z07 package but don't want the Cup2s on the street. A few I've found have the carbon brakes only and one has carbon brakes and carbon wheels. Anyhow did you like it? got tired of it? reliability seems to be good, a few had engines replaced but not many. Hardcore cars like that can get on your nerves after a while. Only space for 1 car for me. Seems to be a good list of 1 and two year old used ones, low miles as I think people got a bit more roughness than they bargained for or the wife hated it. GM is not selling them certified though. Just the remainder of the warranty.
