V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2023 CT4-V Blackwing
Has anyone tried aftermarket air filters, in particular dry filters (hate dealing with the mess of cleaning and reoiling wet filters) on Blackwings?

Any demonstrated results other than engine noise? Thanks, Don

I have only found the Green filters but they require oiling. Like you, I would love to find a reusable dry filter option.

What's the point? More dust going into the engine without any meaningful benefit.
Totally agree. I ran a Green Filter in my 5BW for about a year before switching back to the OEM paper filter. Performance-wise, there was zero noticeable difference. But in terms of filtration, there’s no question the paper filter does a better job at keeping dirt and debris out of the engine. For me, better engine protection outweighs any marketing claims about airflow gains.

The local Cadillac dealership has a "tech guy" who knows his business. A couple days ago I asked him if there were any easy changes such as an aftermarket filter that provides real benefits and would be OK with Cadillac.

The answer was no surprise, nothing. Factory filter will stay on my 4BW. Don
