Hello, group.
After over 3 years on a waiting list with my dealer year one cf constrain, reordered next year 120th anniversary, got bypassed, converted to regular, now reorder as next MY, but dealer last year had zero blackwing allocation. I am being told that I probably should look elsewhere.
As last ditch effort, nationwide search, closest to my spec found in Delaware with $7500 ADM...after some straight talk $75 bellow msrp. Flew 3 days later and drove home 1763 miles to Colorado. Best car ever.

That would have been exactly me guaranteed! I seen it coming so I just hopped on a plane after 15 months of ZERO allocations to just go get my baby! So glad I did too because the price has gone up! We have twin CT5's hope you enjoy!

Not shocked that Delaware Cadillac was still trying to squeeze a markup out of these cars. I remember when they posted in the MSRP thread claiming they were an MSRP dealer when all their 5BW's had a $25k markup on them.

That's the way I wanted, well 1600 bronze wheels and paint, but I settle on those since I am happy to get it and own it, just have to spend 10k right away for paint correction full PPF and ceramic coating to control my OCD and not ending up with PTSD due to black paint

Haha well considering I was a poor high school student when a classmate got a brand new Conquest TSI with the fender flares, I have always loved those things! The late 80s RX7s (esp the GTU) were dream cars of mine, too, and the later FDs and 300ZX TTs were also cars I spent a lot of time spending imaginary money on.

The easier question is "what options" did you NOT get on the car ? Does anyone know what the highest MSRP is possible to attain on a 5BW ? (With every option box checked). I believe I saw one for around 160k.

That's kinda ridiculous and reaching M5CS territory....I wouldn't pay that for either car imo.

Congratulations on your new ride.

Just got mine December 20th. I had been waiting for 16 months with no allocation granted to my dealer. The GM located one within 110 miles that was available. I called the dealer in the morning, went to check it out and drove it home that afternoon. The original buyer that ordered it, backed out of the deal. It had been on the dealers lot for only 5 days. Actually, I'm surprised it last that long. I got lucky and snagged it before someone else did.

When I saw the blue and gold pop up I had to do it. I had a lead on a white one (to replace my white 2017 CTSV) but ditched it when I saw this. I’m so lucky to be in Texas where these are easy to find.
