V-Series Cadillac(s)?
2023 CT5-V
What are people seeing for discounts on 2026 CT4-V BW's, particularly in the Northeast? Im in CT, but willing to travel a bit for a good dealer/deal.

Thanks.

I doubt you'll get anything on a 26 CT4VBW that just came off the truck within the past few months. If you are looking for deals, you should be hunting for left over 2025's instead - the two MY's are exactly the same from what I recall and dealers will be eager to get aging inventory off of their lots.

How about a leftover 2024 Arrival Edition?

Have there been any meaningful updates other than exterior colors to the 4BW?

I traded my 4BW manual to Porsche of Pittsburgh if you want a 2025 model with low miles and first service done and rear differential fluid changed too. It’s listed for 67.5k, they might go lower. Not a scratch or ding on it. I kept is clean and treated the leather inside it once a month.

@DCV Traded for a Porsche. Bold, succinct. Maybe, even, a clever move. How dat and, what trim? Did you post about a 4S? Or, what did you spec?

I've been oogling Caymans for 3 years but jumped at the used CT5 3-pedals 6speed V-8 Cadillac sleeper as soon as I saw it. No delay. Epic. But the Porsche still calls for 2 doors (and add the Macan or Cayenne).

I just don't know where to stop on the 2 door trim ladder 718 2.0L to 911 GT3 Touring....riiiight. I'm up to GT4 RS but that's crazy for street. Of course, the Dakar, lol.

Wild swings of silly big bags of money there. I watch BAT auctions and shake my head. I get the trigger finger twitch but that trade-in is a good way to make a move. Will not pay ADM but if I could get Euro delivery program then that would be the lifelong ticket. Costly as all get-out but cry once, or cry often. Are they that good really?

I mean my Honda is good, old and, really good. Like near-zero maintenance cost. I could put $15k into the K motor and roast the rice. easily. I think I'll do that anyway. Hot rod the Honda. Will still get 30mpg. The thing throws around OEM bone-stock plus H&R Springs.

I got a cpo 2020 C4S, as I really like the AWD feel of a 911 with it. I was missing the feel of a true sports car while on the backroads. I’m fine with the PDK as there is no way in hell anyone can manually shift that fast and smooth. I bought an extra year of bumper to bumper coverage too. So it’s got three years of coverage and to be cpo it had to be up to date on all services. That’s not cheap to do. Porsche is loosing money and I had lots of dealers offering me a S or 4S allocation with no ADM. They lost so much on the Taycan and nobody wants an EV boxer or Cayman. So for new 911’s they jacked up the price too damm high on the new ones. I don’t think that strategy going to work. It’s pissing off too many people. A 992.2 build like my .1 is close to 200k now for a marginally better car. The new GTS hybrid is having all kinds of problems too, with people waiting on parts that get tariffed up, IF you can get them

Just crazy how much 992.2 prices have been raised vs .1 models. A decently spec'd new GT3 is easily a $300k car nowadays, even if ADM is not that excessive (good luck finding one at less than ridiculous markup). Is it that much better a car than the .1? Can't be considering not a whole bunch changed.

Interesting about the GTS hybrid having issues. Not that I was ever interested in one, but the technology is interesting and does seem a bit complex, so no surprise the rollout has not been unblemished. Even if nothing feature-wise is all that complex itself, together it seems like a rather complex car. I'd hate to be an up and coming Porsche technician. I'll have to research more how those hybrids are faring.
