2022 CT5 Blackwing
Hi everyone, wanted to share my Blackwing and some of the mods I've done to this 2022 model.

I bought this as a Certified Pre-Owned and actually drove from New York to Illinois to pick it up. It was the only one I could find with the exact interior I wanted, Carbon Fiber 1 & 2 Packages, and carbon ceramic brakes — and to be honest, it felt like a steal of a deal.

Mods & Upgrades:

  • Stealth PPF with full paint correction and ceramic coating — went with a stealth look over the Rift Metallic which I absolutely love.

  • Variant Forged Wheels in bronze — 285/35/19 front, 325/30/19 rear (Pilot Sport All Seasons) running 5mm spacers in the back. Im going to remove the spacers though because there is some rubbing on the outer fender. When I had these tires on the OEM rim there was no rubbing at all, I'm thinking the extra offset from the Variants was too much though.

  • Ambient lighting installed. My PPF guy installed this kit and did a pretty great job. No wires showing at all! The kit was model specific and it actually replaced the steel/polished trim pieces which I thought was pretty cool. Didn't love the idea of a cheap Chinese lighting kit but it was the only option I found and was better quality than expected.

  • Also added blacked-out emblems and carbon mirror caps to complete the exterior look.

I do have a carbon fiber flat-bottomed steering wheel on the way. And Cat-back Corsa is sitting in my living room until I mount it next week. Let me know what you guys think!

Car looks good, but do you have more pictures from the side so we can get a better look at the wheels? The pictures are kind of dark and hard to see them.

+1 to 5VBW as well as more from outside. I'm really interested to see Rift in matte finish.

Yes absolutely!
