Looking for a manual 5VBW fully optioned (CCB, CF1-2, PDR, etc) preferably with black interior. Will consider multiple exterior colors if rest of options are there.

    Stud Extenders

Per Terrance: “The extenders are too large for the bore. We cut the wheels to a super tight tolerance to the stud to ensure the wheels locate property and decrease the chance of wobble at speed. This takes stress off the stud and makes the entire assembly more like a solid unit when fastened...

I was on North and on the longest straight as you go to shift to 4th, you start braking a second later

I actually ran faster staying in 3rd and not shifting to 4th going down the straight. I only did it after my ride along with the instructor and noticed they didn’t shift and just held 3rd at redline.

    Stud Extenders

Sizing was off per the tech that did the wheel swap - to his chagrin he had to use the foam covers from GM, though he said they were much easier to put on with the wheels already off, haha. Also, OEM lug nuts didn't fit either - had to get a 14x1.5 nut (iirc). The OEM wheel locks did fit...

    Signature Wheel's Cadillac Blackwing Adventures

About two months ago, to the day, I reached out to Terrance about a set of wheels. Told him about what the use of the car would be, my goals, and a few designs I liked off their site. He came back with a recommendation and explanation on why and one that made sense and I felt confident in...

    Stud Extenders

Bought these and they worked great for getting the stock wheels off, but DO NOT work for the Signature wheels. Hopefully I can find a set that will

    Stud Extenders

Anyone use or seen stud extenders for the Blackwings? Would a C7 or C8 set work? Trying to protect the CCBs from idiots and the foam wraps from GM are a PITA to install. Looking for something like this

Currently, yes - but they are working to purchase their own. They have 220+ C8s and they wholesale them through DCMotors

I’m still in Vegas and it’s pretty mild - granted 80* and rainy is scary for Las Vegas in August but nothing crazy, haha

It diverted towards Cali for the most part but if they get 5-6” of rain in a few hours it could wash out the track again.

    Warning: DCMotors Anaheim

That’s true - but I expect these cars spend most of their life above 3k rpm’s and they weren’t really doing much to warm them up. I found it interesting that each car was lapped by an instructor each morning before we got in it and when we went out, all the cars were relatively cold. Also...

    Spring Mountain Impressions

Just wrapped up day 2 and made the trip back to Vegas - holy crap, what an experience. Some guys there were driving scared and not really getting a feel for what their car is truly capable of, but 3-4 of us were driving the piss out of the cars and teetering right on the edge of our own...

    Warning: DCMotors Anaheim

The Director of Racing for their members led our class and told me they buy them without a warranty because it’s so much cheaper. If they have a motor go out (and they have), it’s on their dime.
