I am not a gas expert but the 90 has no ethanol in it. The 93 probably has up to 10% of ethanol in it. Here in central WI, you can get 91 with no ethanol and 93 that has up to 10% of ethanol.
I plan on hooking up a battery tender for the next few months while old man winter is in town.
I would like to hook the tender pig tails directly to the battery, but incase that does not happen, where are the terminals under the hood located?
I bought the race ramps years ago when I had a different vehicle and I needed the extenders. So I use them for the 5BW since I have them.
I have not tried the ramps with out the extenders. If the Race Ramp calculator indicates you don't need them, then you probably don't.
Hey, there are no dumb questions😀.
Because the drain plug is on the side of the oil pan, and not on the back of the pan, I would assume there is a little oil left in the pan.
I believe the part number for the two piece ramps is Item: RR-XT-2, and the extensions part number is Item: RR-EX-14 (Race Ramp Web site).
They are obviously not cheap ramps but they make getting under your car to change the oil much easier.

I wish I could drive my car all year long, but the winters up here are very hard on vehicles. If you got a nice vehicle it typically gets parked for about 4-5 months while old man winter is in town.
I have lived central WI my entire life. Its a beautiful part...
Yep, I have changed the oil in many different vehicles. I guess I was curious if someone had any pics. Is the drain plug plastic, similar to the one Ford uses on the Mustangs (S550's) and Explorer ST's (2020+)?
I just rolled 600 miles and I am going to change the oil before I put it away for...
Sully, Thanks for the info. I used to have a 2014 GT500 and I bought Race Ramps with the extensions for that. They work great for low clearance vehicles. As you know Race Ramps are not cheap, but they make oil changes easy.
Blackwing Newbie. I got a 2024 CT5-V Blackwing, manual. Bought it new with 7 miles on it. I got 525 miles on it now. So far I really like the car. Its funny, people in my area have no idea what this car is. They just think its a typical Cadillac.
How are the oil changes on these car? I...
