Generally the only guidance I've seen is to avoid high pressure directly on the edges. Most good shops - especially if doing a full car/color change - will wrap under the edges of the body panels, further protecting them from damage. I've used a low pressure power washer on my vehicles with XPEL...
Really bummed about having Electric Blue dropped - that was going to be on my 2024 choice. Surprising they'd drop it considering it was the "hero" color for the car at launch. The new blue looks generic to me...and I love yellow...but don't think the 5BW wears it well.

I recall Dodge doing it with the 2008 Magnum (one year only facelift), the XLR-V got body changes that are specific to 2009. So there's precedent out there.
This is GM we're talking about, it's not like they would, say, develop a whole TT DOHC powertrain and then kill it after just two model...
I found that the ideal solution was also the simplest. Live in a year-round fair weather state, no boring cars required. I chose AZ.
