I cross shopped the two and went with the 4BW (I was not able to drive either before buying). For me it came down to (i) style - clear winner in this category is the BW, (ii) transmission - by all accounts the manual is better in the BW, (iii) feel - again, couldn't experience for myself but...
I'm getting under 15 in city/stop and go highway driving in my 4BW. The rare times I drive a substantial distance on the highway outside of rush hour it ends up around 22.

Thanks - I agonized over the watch purchase even longer than over the car purchase (though thankfully it took a week to get once I decided compared to the 6 months for my car).
My polarized glasses dim the HUD but it’s still visible most of the time. I’m more concerned with how the tint would mix with the HUD/PDR and the glasses.
I’m also coming from and M and I like the button to open (nice to know 100% that it’s unlocked) but it’s taking some getting used to. One thing I do miss (unless the car has it and I just haven’t figured it out) is being able to swipe the top of the handle to lock the car.
