I can’t find the printout but they were precisely what the manual has for track both on camber (-2.4 fronts; -1.8 rear) and toe (0.1 total toe in f/r if I remember right). And specs were balanced / even on both sides. Obviously there is a possibility alignment got knocked out of spec...
Resurrecting this thread. I got track alignment at a race shop earlier this yr, my oem ps4s went on day 2, got v730s and the fronts corded on the outsides on day 2 as well which was unacceptable. Not sure if alignment got knocked out, I was over driving, pressures were wrong (35-36 hot) or what...
@Mirza Grebovic This is amazing - thank you so much for sharing. Exactly what this thread needed. And very timely as well for me as I embark on my first wrenching job ever on a car (replace brake pads) but couldn’t figure out how to safely lift car.
Curious what the measurements on that wood...
Stock pads on rear? Was car stopping well? Didn't throw off brake by wire system? My front pads lasted 2 track days (intermediate to advanced level), so stock fronts is not an option...
Resurrecting this thread.
Any updates on rear pad fitment issues? Looks like its not easy to source these EBC pads.
What are other good alternatives? Trying to find a track pad that will do the job on the street as well (ok with some extra rotor wear).
Just curious what your use case is. More track or more daily? Do you need 4 usable seats? Sounds like you prefer engagement of 4bw while m4 was missing the connection, but yet you expect g87 to be more raw. Have you driven 4bw on track to see how it compares to g80? I thought 4bw was putting...
You sure tach wasn’t in stealth mode? If you go all the way down on the display brightness dimmer wheel, think it puts it in stealth mode (or whatever Cadi calls it).
I shifted my 4BW MT from 4th near the redline into 5th. As I was looking at the tach, the graphic / line on tach that briefly appears to show peak rpm / shift point appeared higher than redline at around 6700 rpm or so. Rev match was off and I certainly didn’t go into 3rd as I released the...
Haha I have the exact same issue. Can’t just hit the button and walk out - have to look at screen every time to make sure car turned off since I have 0 confidence in the start / stop button!
Super helpful and a relief to know there are options. Ferodo pads are great - I currently have ds3.12 on my other car and have had good experience with ds2500 as well for street / light track hybrid. Will see how stock pads hold up and go from there.
Glad you brought this thread back to life. I have been thinking about pad options for track. For the track experienced folks here:
How do the stock pads hold up on track? Are they somewhat track worthy?
Are there any third party pad options? Are the fronts same size / shape as SS 1LE? Rears...
Was told same. Accelerated is awesome. And profleet (which is a group of proficient auto transport) told me they are picking tomorrow and will deliver Thursday. My VIN is 460566
Looks like Robs tracker had 8/18 EDD for @Cap Brannigan with event code of 4D00.
I emailed Keri this past week for first time. Was told car is assigned to Jack Cooper to move from factory to shippable lot and then Accelerated should get it. Just awesome customer service from Keri and team!
