Im still under warranty so I want to be somewhat cautious. Im also aware some of the tuners are throwing codes. Are there any solutions to adding real power at the moment that will not risk warranty? If not, oh well, then I'll wait until after and go crazy.
Mine was covered 100%. Use the Courtesy Pickup service so the tech comes and picks it up at your house. It helps when they experience the issue on their drive back and explain it to the service manager. From there, be firm with your service advisor about the issue. Should a vehicle with 5000mi...
They replaced all 4 rotors and caliper's. Then it came back. Turns out the wheels were the culprit. Not milled roght so they threw it off balance and so the pads and calipers wore the rotors uneven.
So then they replaced the wheels. 4000 more miles and no issues after the wheel swap.
I want to get center caps that can either be powdercoated, or are just flat black/chrome/etc with no logo. Any one know the size or attempted this yet with what works and what doesn't?
Anyone know if its possible to order the CT4-V Blackwing 18" Tech Bronze (RRR) wheels? I have the boring chrome set and I'm curious if its possible to order a set of these bronze wheels from the manufacturer so I can have them swapped to my tires.
I would be curious to know the cost if anyone...
Done. I live rural and have plenty of places to do that. I wish I could just disable ABS by pulling a fuse, etc so I can be sure to not have it kick in lol
I just scheduled an appt with my dealer (Covert Cadillac in Austin, TX). They're booked out until Sept 22nd, so I'll avoid driving it too much over the next few weeks.
I did. I was on a 300 mile drive this morning. I did the full bedding process and no dice. It actually feels like it made it WORSE. The 8 60-10 stops actually seem to have it more profound than before.
6500 miles and getting brake shudder. Never tracked.
Anyone else run in to this and what did you do? I'm expecting that if I bring this to the dealer they'll just tell me to buy new brakes and it's not their problem, but this seems pretty early to start having brake issues.
Hit the brakes and I get a lot of vibration. 5k miles on CT4-V. Visually and by touch the rotors look good, no grooves etc.
I'm thinking I have bad pads.
Unique or known issue? I'll probably schedule an Appointment with the dealer soon.
I'm about 3500 miles now on the CT4-V and I've started to get a notification on the dash that reads "Service Safety Restraint System". It will intermittently pop up, every few minutes while driving.
The dealer is 3 weeks out on having loaners so I thought, in the meantime, I would ask if anyone...
