I hadn't looked at Tire Rack in a couple of months but there seem to be more sticky choices than before, including an updated version of the BFG Rival that might be interesting. I'm happy with my 2nd set of TPC-spec tires but will probably try something different next time.
So can you please walk us through how to do it without breaking it? I've got all the right pry tools but I cannot figure out how to put the pressure in the right locations to pop it out without what feels like imminent breakage.
I sold a 2021 FK8 Type R to get my 2024 5BW 6sp. They are such different animals but both exceptional driver's cars. The CTR is going to be better on most backroads than the 5BW in part because it is smaller, lighter, and has an incredibly locked down suspension with plenty of rebound damping...
I have the sky cool gray with alcantara backs on my 2024 5BW. I think that makes them "mid". I did a 4500 mile road trip in June and had 1 day of over 1000 miles, another of 900 miles, and several others over 600 miles. They were absolutely superb and I had zero discomfort at any point. One...

I need to pop the shift boot off but have struggled with my trim tools - it feels like it is going to break something. If there are any tips, I'd appreciate hearing them. I would like to get Lathewerks to make me a round 2 1/8" polymer/stainless combo one.
OP - I know you aren't asking for our opinions about whether you should or should not put lowering springs on your car but the mag ride is so awesome I just can't imagine messing with the springs. I've used springs in the past and always regretted it (and always ended up with proper high...
Ummm I'm guessing you have never changed parts on a car and dyno'd it back to back. You definitely can gain power with exhausts and/or intakes on a lot of modern cars with stock ECU.
Evora 400 manual and 5BW manual owner here. Every time I drive a 4BW, I get closer to trading my Evora for one. The 4BW is such an exciting car to drive but also a great day-to-day car. My Evora doesn't get driven nearly enough (12k miles in 7 years) and it seems dumb to have something I so...
