Blur could explain better, but it has something to do with being able to bend over far enough to get your head between your legs and make yourself feel important and special.

    Stupid Loud

Wow, you are so special having a Blackwing and an Escalade V and some other cars too. No one else in this whole forum can claim the same excess of obvious wealth. I am definitely jealous. What else do you have that makes you cooler than everyone else? I want to be even more jealous. :D

    Stupid Loud

haha, you are moronic. You complain about your '23 V (I had one way before you) and now you have two of them. Hilarious.

    Stupid Loud

Where have you been the last 18 months? Nice job dropping back by to complain some more and talk trash. You still have the Escalade V or did you trade for the 'quiet' '25 model?

    CT5-V CT5V BW Burning 4qtz/Thousand miles

You are correct. The hardware of the AFM/DFM is in all LT4's in the Blackwings, but the software is disabled on manual transmission-equipped cars.

Would you sell a ‘24 Nissan GT-R T Spec in Millenium Jade for a fully loaded ‘25 5BW manual?

I'd keep the GTR and dump the IS500 and/or the FL5 for the 5BW!

L87's and LT4's are not DRAMATICALLY different. And the use of the same oil causes concern if GM really thinks a heavier oil can 'protect' an engine better. Particularly, you ladies that run the 10A and have the the cylinder deactivation in the LT4. :)

My 4 year factory warranty is up in August (got one of the first 250 5BW cars), so I need to start searching too. Please keep us posted on where you find the best extended warranty deal!

    CT5-V CT5V BW Burning 4qtz/Thousand miles

Your engine was likely abused by previous owner. A few overrev events can loosen an engine up and over time, it can fail in one way or another. GM is being a little cautious, but you're going to get a new motor eventually. Insist on a decent loaner every time you bring the car in and just...

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

Armaspeed, it was easy to install, decent CF quality, and not too expensive. I recommend it. Yeah, there is a lot missing for a $50k+ price point. I didn't buy it for the luxury and tech, but Acura did cheap out on some of that stuff as you mentioned. Driving experience is good though for...

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

I had a '24 ITS for about 6 months. Was very fun car to drive. FWD was a bit annoying, but outside of first gear, it mostly worked fine. Added an air intake and that really added to the enjoyment factor hearing the turbo whoosh and blow-off sounds. It's definitely not a Blackwing, but it's...

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

Yep, those 92 miles are hard Ferris Bueller valet, rode hard and put away wet, dog from the 7th circle of hell miles is what every potential buyer should consider. :D

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

I 100% see both sides. I've walked over $50 literally on principle. But, those a-holes had another buyer lined up and hoped you backed out of the transaction. :( Screw 'em. These cars are relatively rare, but not THAT rare. :) Order a '26 the way you want it from Sewell at list with no BS...

$38k is a good deal for a base Z if you want a 2 door sports car.

    DSX Lid Whine Results

Reason for my grok post is to state the obvious that it will likely take a twin screw blower to REALLY make it sound like a Hellcat. I had a '23 TRX for a while and the Hellcat engine is bada**. The LT4 is great too, but it's just plain quieter on the intake/blower side and that's by design...

    DSX Lid Whine Results

grok: The Dodge Hellcat and the Chevrolet LT4 are both iconic supercharged V8 engines, but their supercharger designs differ significantly due to engineering choices tailored to each brand's performance goals. Here's a breakdown of the key supercharger differences between the two: Dodge Hellcat...

EV Thoughts Thread: cause the old farts did their usual thing

Great write-up, Berserker! Thank you for that. Your thoughts echo may of mine and my Model S. It's just so easy to own and drive. You won't have to do probably ANY maintenance during your lease term either unless you just have to rotate tires or add windshield washer fluid. Does the Lucid...

Congrats on the pick-up! So, any preliminary driving impressions particularly as it's relates to your BW? Pros/cons, etc.?

EV Thoughts Thread: cause the old farts did their usual thing

If you do 40amps on a good quality 14-50 plug professionally installed by an EV experienced electrician, you will be absolutely fine. I've had mine for 2.5 years with zero issues charging several times a week on my cheapo Woshion charger (that still works perfectly).

EV Thoughts Thread: cause the old farts did their usual thing

Sounds like it's time to pull the trigger on the Pure! You'll really live EV ownership for the daily runabout tasks. It's just so easy to own. Software updates over the air, charging at night, no oil changes, no maintenance at all really besides tire rotation and windshield washer fluid...
