Well, I like all the fancy bells and whistles, but it's too expensive for me . . . especially since my DDHC will outperform it in every category, except for fanciness . . . I would buy one if it could keep up with the DDHC and was priced more reasonably though . . .
I am a former GM employee...
Well, because it's 2 years newer . . . and there are probably some refinements and upgrades that aren't or weren't available in the '21 models, like better security against theft . . .
Now that the 2023 Durango Hellcats are a thing, I might end up trading the one I have in on one of those . . . or, maybe just sell it and pay cash for most, if not the whole price of the new one . . .
According to what I read this morning, the Escalade-V will be able to do 0-60 in "under 4.4 seconds" . . . it's a 7000lb beast but is only able to tow 7000lbs . . . and, the MSRP starts at $130K . . . even though I'm a former GM Employee, and can get Employee Pricing, I'm sure there is no way...
The first picture is just before I bought it . . . right now, I am working on re-doing almost everything on the car . . . drivetrain (Chevrolet Performance "Connect & Cruise LT1\8L90E E-Rod" kit), electrical system, rearend, brakes, etc. etc. . . .
The second picture is the current status, with...
So, Rob--I realize that I have abandoned my order, but it seems odd that the car I ordered still has a status of 3800, since it was built the week of January 10th . . .

I became extremely fast at...
You are entitled to your opinion, and frankly, I'm surprised that you are not familiar enough with the order process to understand that once it reaches 2000 status, it can't be changed. Maybe you need to keep your opinions to yourself.
My intent isn't to make money on it, and I know that Sewell won't have a problem finding a buyer, I'm simply offering the opportunity to the members of the forum to pick up the order in my place . . .

I ordered the car through Sewell, and since they are a great dealership, and has treated everyone well (including me), I hate to...
