AUTO TRANSMISION AND CAR WASH MODE

That's just one part of it! Not only would I never take my car through an automated car wash, my car will never go into this strange "Park" situation. ;) I say that without intending to throw any shade, I'm well aware that circumstances change as explained by the OP.

    Blackwings and Watches

I change watch faces periodically so it's not instant. When it does become instant, I change it up. There are also other watch faces that make you think in other ways, various geometric designs.

    Blackwings and Watches

Depends on the number. Sometimes you have to think about it for a little bit for the higher numbers. For example, anything staring with 11xxx you have to had 48 to a number you already know, or 10xxx you have to add 32. Other than that it's pretty quick.

    Blackwings and Watches

Speaking of watches, I picked up a new Pebble a few months ago. Yes, the original smart watch is back--better than ever. Probably not in the same price range as many other watches here, at $149 plus shipping, but it's the perfect watch for tech nerds! :)...

    Media dumps

Talking about the design of the 2025 CT5. Seems a little late, but the video was just released. He talks about the styling, including the differences in the dash/infotainment. Go to 13:13 or so for the discussion of the dash. He also mentions manual v. automatic.

CT4-V Replacement Key Fob - Colors and Part Numbers

Tom-ay-to, tom-ah-to. That's the precise definition of being lazy, the way many of us look at it I think. They are too lazy to figure out exactly what is involved, too lazy to dig into it and solve the problem.

Curated by Cadillac - Hand built CT5BW

The blue seats look fantastic, but I think the exterior is too "purple-y". The interior and exterior don't go well together, to my eye. I'd keep those blue seats but consider a different exterior color, something softer, more blue. I'd also see how the blue calipers look with the overall...

    Dealer joyride and manual "lessons"

I just keep all car records in a Trix (Google spreadsheet). Years ago I kept a notebook, but technology marches on.

    Used Value Trend

I was going to say the same thing. Monitor the forum, pay attention when someone is selling something right up your alley, and snap it up. As you well know!

    Used Value Trend

Only problem is, I've reached a point in my life where I've decided to never buy a practical car again, ever. :)

    Cadillac F1 entry

If that's your belief, you could have just said that Cadillac shouldn't be in F1 at all.

Dealer Tech Didnt Realize I have PDR

Can the PDR recording be disabled if the car is placed in Valet Mode? Might be a way to avoid this.

Dealer Tech Didnt Realize I have PDR

Only if he drives the car.

What kind of trucks do you guys like?

Same answer as your other thread. https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/threads/auto-vs-manual.6182/post-121720 New Tacoma, because it has a manual transmission available, or at least that's the claim (they are very hard to find). I haven't bought one yet, but I will. Or my daughter will, with...

Well, those are three words I never expected to see used together on this forum.

Am I the only one here interested in vintage vehicles?

Location? Looks like it could be the Blue Ridge Parkway.

    Proximity Locking Questions

Interestingly, manufacturers treat re-enabling differently. Here's a small sample size, Cadillac and Toyota, the only two vehicles I've personally owned with the passive "keyless unlocking." I did some experimentation. Cadillac leave this disabled until you press and hold lock and unlock for...
