Brand-new 5BW, less than 1K miles.
Was on the freeway cruising at 65 when I decided "Meh. Let's try 75."
Lightly touched the gas... and she got squirrelly... to and fro, left and right.
No brown, but pucker factor was > 0. I mean I lightly touched the gas.
Is this the tires, the car...
Cruise Control is off, so Super Cruise is also off (right?).
Start changing lanes and the car pushes back on me. Not a lot, but enough to be irritating.
What's going on?
Title says it all: Who has replaced the stock 275F/305R with 285F/325R?
If so, did you do it with the stock wheels - and if so, did you mill and/or space?
If you did new wheels, how much did you adjust offset, and in which direction?
These cars have been out for a while, but I don't see many (if any) posts outlining folks who have tried increasing tire width and/or diameter, together with their associated results.
I know Cadillac engineers got pretty close to maxing out tire under the wheel well, but how close, exactly...
I know it's just a matter of time, but has anyone taken off the blower and put in some turbo action yet?
I'm certainly not crazy enough to void a warranty on a $100K car, but someone must be... 🤔
You'd think that for a $100K+ vehicle Cadillac would have worked with Continental or Michelin to get at least ONE SET of all-season tires in OEM spec for the Blackwing, yes?
Instead, there is ...... nothing in A/S available for our cars.
There's "screwing the pooch", then there's GM... 😒
Has anyone driven or ridden in a BW with the new Precision Pack option? Even a test mule, i.e. someone with a friend at GM, etc. would be good.
I am wondering if I should get this with my 2025 order. It basically makes the 5-BW a track car. My question is, what would it be like as a daily...
I configured both the way I wanted and they came within a few dollars of each other, so there is no discernible financial difference between the two of them.
Would any of you consider the M5 over the BW?

Not only looking for max tire (1) width, and (2) height, but also ideal offset/backspace.
Ideal meaning fit and max height/width with no rubbing at stock suspension height.
Anyone know of any wheel mfrs who have done this work?
