    C8Z vs CT5BW

    @0Vloc Excellent parking spot discipline!

Order your carbon ceramic rotors by 8/31

I'm not a lesbian so one car isn't "good", but that is a decent list if I just wanted a transportation device.

Order your carbon ceramic rotors by 8/31

    "Good" is a subjective measure.

    C8Z vs CT5BW

We dropped our last daughter at college last weekend, so our nest is empty. I love my girls, but between us I'm really enjoying a house that is free of 26 half full water cups, 11 wet towels in various rooms, clothes everywhere, free of the one that is obsessed with pan frying broccoli and...

    C8Z vs CT5BW

Then you of all people should be manifesting the Bagon into reality in 2029!

Manalive those are some serious track day consumable costs! No wonder the track rats recommend iron brakes for these cars.

    C8Z vs CT5BW

I'm not sure I understand your bullet points; are you trading the BW for a C8 and adding a daily? Or is this a weekend car discussion? If you're going for a one car solution, C8 isn't solving those points and seems like a major step back in terms of your family needs. I've never made a car...

What does engine/shift adjustment do for the transmission in a manual?

The question came up at SM and it was determined to change the throttle mapping, as @BimmerFan said.

    Oh thank god

So many chores got done. Missed everyone!

    4BW LF4 Oil Consumption

One has to take an almost scientific procedure to determine oil usage rates. Consistent conditions for checking the level are step one. I think an overnight rest on level ground is the generally preferred process.

    CT5-V EQ settings

Interesting on the break-in...geez at this rate (of miles) it will be 2027 before get full acoustic range! Like most systems, the source matters and XM is probably the worst source due to the compression algorithms. I have adjusted the EQ as I usually do, a general U shape. I think its a good...

    Spring Mountain Impressions

While technically I paid for the "free" SM experience, I'd never pay $3500 cash for it. I'd use that $ for some one-on-one instruction at a track near me. I'm not a Vegas fan boy, but in 2-night doses my wife and I have a good time.

    5BW daily driver

I wouldn't pick the 5BW as my endurance race weapon, that 16.5 tank at 3mpg track average doesn't yield much range. I took this after lunch when the tech filled my tank after some hot laps on day two at SM.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

My wife was going to go with me, but changed her mind. Now with the experience done, it was the right choice for her not to join me. She really isn't into cars that much and becoming homeless the second day (check out is 11am) would have been a drag for her. I intentionally picked a Wed-Thu...

    Spring Mountain Impressions

I just completed my SM experience on the one year anniversary of taking delivery of my BW. I have over 20 years racing and track day instructor experience on a bike, but never behind the wheel of a car on track. I also haven't really beat on my BW or played around much with some of the...

If I pay the $40 can I be your guest? I want to see what happens, as in, "hold my beer, watch this"

    Warranty Block on 4BW M6

Didn't money shift guy post on here when that happened? Either that or someone posted the story, I remember reading it.

    Summer Road Rally

For many, the social element of these rally's is the main appeal, not simply trying to knock out miles on good roads. Also, having the logistics sorted is a nice feature. But purely for driving angle, I think we could all create a good roads list for our regions.

When holding the front plate bracket, the correct comment is ALWAYS "I don't know what this is"...haha, flawless.
