What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I installed the Desert Dies It seat jackers. Initial impression is they help support my long inseam legs.

New CT4-V Blackwing in Central Texas

Congrats on the car. Love Coastal Blue. We should start a thread with cars parked in front of Buc-ee’s.

Has anyone gone from 22-24 to 25-26

If you track the car, the 25-26 has PDR v2.5 which is a nice upgrade from v2.0 in 22-24.

    Traction control

Competition mode is supposed to disable traction control completely. Try that and let us know.

    Traction control

You should try using Launch Control. You are going to need the car in Track Mode with a PTM mode selected or in Sport with Competition Mode set. Check out this link for details on how activate the modes and to get wheel spin if desired...

New member - thanks for having me, need some guidance.

CT5 BW production will continue “until the end of the year”. No specific date yet, but assume that means sometime in Dec. Orders close about 2 months prior to end if prod, so assume the dealer would need to have an allocation and your order submitted by end of Sept at the very latest. Getting...

    Lowering a 2026 5BW with Performance Pack

I doubt there is a difference between 2025 and 2026 in general. More likely is no one has yet tried to install Eibach on a 2025 to give them the same feedback you did. Difference could also be due to the Precision Package. One thing you can do is see if the spring perch part numbers are...

CT5BW CCB front brake pad part number & price change

I doubt this helps, but here is a pic of the back of the new pad with all of the codes.

CT5BW CCB front brake pad part number & price change

When I was at the V Performance school, I asked a mechanic about the change in pad compound. They found the original compound would not hold up to constant track use as it would begin to crumble after repeated cycles. This was only on the front pads. He said that they contacted the pad...

CT-5 BW with Precision Package - rear wheel air deflectors

Confirming that PP/CCB do not have rear deflectors and that you are only missing the fasteners. I checked my car and it looks like yours but GM deemed me worthy of fasteners.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

My other car (not BW) is white and I went with a clear lens side marker. Looks great. Better than a smoke lens on a white car I would think.

    New 5BW Owner in Arizona

Congrats! A light colored car in Arizona is a good idea.

    Alignment needed from the factory

I had them do the track alignment before I picked it up. The before alignment specs were terrible. Especially the toe on one of the rear wheels. If GM will align it free within the first 12mo, then I recommend taking advantage of that if you have steering that does not feel 100% perfect.

    The Blackwing Spotting Thread

Spotted a bunch of BW at Spring Mountain. Yes, I know it is cheating when it comes to spotting. :devilish:

New 2026 CT5 BW manual owner - observations and anecdotes

Congrats on the manual slick top. Glad you got what you liked without having to go through the goat rodeo. Agree on the reasons to get the car. 5BW is a super fun car for grown ups. Couple of answers/comments to your questions/comments: - agreed on the turning radius of the car. It is...

23 BW - Grinding noise when turning right

I do not what it is. But I certainly know that “dusty brake calipers” do not cause a noise when turning the steering wheel. The tech just threw a dart at the generic excuses dartboard hoping you would go away. Try to get a different tech when you go back.

CT5-V CT5 Blackwing Deep Ocean Blue?

Congrats to the owner of the manual with PP but without a sunroof. Someone must have looked up my preferred build. :thumb
