anyone have a Z06 and BW? or trade to a Z06?

So only one spot for you ? So between you and wife, there's another (presumably more practical) vehicle ? If so, I'd definitely go for the Z06. You're obviously past the missing pedal, but other than that, its a phenomenal vehicle. Earlier posts said ignore everything but the engine, and I...

    CT5-V Randomly Waking Up?

Wow.........that is very bizarre. I don't think mine does it. Battery life has been way better than I expected, given how seldom I get to drive it.

    5BW for 4BW

Yeah, the turning radius is annoying, but like you already said - definitely not a deal breaker. What's arguably worse is that you have to hold the traction control button down for 8 solid seconds to turn it completely off so that the throttle could assist in those U-turns. :)

    Best Upgrades 5BW

Exhaust sound. The V8 and its incredible sound is way I bought the car. You *gotta* open it up where you can really hear it.

What were your must have options?

I ordered mine nearly exactly what I wanted. Must haves: Manual tranny Read paint Gray seats (mid-grade) Only regret - didn't get PDR. Really wish I'd figured out how to add it to the options list.

EV Thoughts Thread: cause the old farts did their usual thing

Thanks for the update. I'll never own an EV, but I'm currently driving one as my primary DD, and its a great city car. Agreed that the perfect combo is an EV for running errands and commuting, and ICE for fun and road trips. Leasing is also good financially if you don't drive many miles, and...

CT5-V Might be selling my BW - any interest on here?

Sorry to hear you're considering selling it. I hope things are OK financially and health-wise for you and your family.

    Blackwings and Watches

It is out of place. I love skeletons, and that one is very cool. A bit humongous, but still very cool. Also curious what it is.

Low-Profile Ramps - Race Ramps Alternative

Finally got around to my first oil change that I've done. Broke out my old RhinoRamps that fit under my Gen5 Camaro. I figured that car must be lower than the Cadillac. ..............apparently not. Just found this thread and its a lifesaver !! I had already discovered that web site, but I...

    5BW for 4BW

You will have to offer lots of $$$ along with your 4BW. The original stickers are not very close to each other. Used value has probably widened that gap.

    Gas Grade

Rural OK and AR also have only 91.

    Gas Grade

This is an on-going debate with bikers too. I've have buddies in both camps. QT, btw, is where we gas up for rides too - for that reason. :) I would be interested in some facts or evidence that one is better than the other. 90 pure gas is more expensive than 93 ethanol premium. I'd buy 92...

    CT5-V CT5V BW Burning 4qtz/Thousand miles

This thread had me curious, plus my change oil indicator is bugging me. So its been around 7,000 miles since my post-break-in oil change. 100% full and still nearly clear !! I don't think I've ever seen oil that clean in a car engine. Some of my bikes leave it that clean between changes, but not...

    Steel Brake Rotor Life

Normal street driving should not wear out pads or rotors in under 30K miles. These track pads may be that much different from normal pads, but its easy enough to check. Good theory about the bad master cylinder applying unneeded pressure all the time. Unfortunately, it will likely be...

    Blackwings and Watches

Unfortunately no safe radium. That 1600 year half life would sure be nice though :) Tritium is only 12, so we'll so how it goes..........

    Blackwings and Watches

This thread kinda re-inspired me on the watch front. Tritium is safe now - its inside tiny tubes. :) Only a handful of companies use it though.

Latest addition - Luminox Pacific diver. Has Tritium radioactive lume. So I can tell what time it is when waking up before dawn. :)

CT4-V AWE-Tuning.com ready to make full exhaust kits

I called them all 2 years ago as well. guess they were waiting for enough TAM - total available market - to matter. Same advice as before - your local shop can just remove stock exhaust for fractions of this cost and have better sound. Think about it - why would you pay $$$$$ for another...
