What "don't" you like about your BW"?

Edited to add that my 2023 CTV-4 Blackwing left the dealer's lot w/o any issues and it' stlll that way. No rattles/squeaks, everything works as it should and it gets excellent mileage, beats all EPA number w/o babying it.

What "don't" you like about your BW"?

No biggie but I'd prefer I could control the car lighting up it's headlights the moment I step into the garage. If I want that in a mall or whatever that should be my decision, not Cadillacs. I hate Nanny issues on cars.

    Pad for right knee rest?

I bought it on the Stinger forum. I can't find it now. Amazon does carry a pad that appears to be completely comparable. Don

    Pad for right knee rest?

They're fairly easy to come by in the Kia Stinger forum. I have one in my Stinger, haven't gotten around to getting one for my CTV-4 yet.

Summer tires in cold weather ?

Absolutely! If tires became dangerous to drive in at temps below 40, massive numbers of citizens could never drive in the winter and would have to replace their tires before driving next spring.

Summer tires in cold weather ?

That's not what Michelin says. They appear to say don't even store the stock Pilot Sports at 40 or below.

Maintenance at 1521 Miles Plus Some Other Questions

3K is OK, 5K is too long in my opinion unless you drive very long distances frequently.

How many miles on the odometer at pickup?

Purchased off the lot, 14 miles. Edited, wrote the above line before looking at all the previous posts. Higher mileage than others, ick. Shouldn't whine I guess, the car runs beautifully at just under 11K miles, zero oil consumption

    General interior aging and wear

My CTV-4 BW has been very quiet with one major exception, an obnoxious squeaking from the carbon fiber seat back. Took it to the local dealer, their fix completely eliminated the squeak. Makes me SMILE!

Any How To Help on Replacing our Batteries?

I THINK it's no big deal once you remove all the surrounding trunk material but may well be wrong. Don

    Is this normal Cadillac Service?

Those hourly wages are insane, WAY above what the San Antonio Caddy dealership charges. You sure it's all about the new building? Don

    Is this normal Cadillac Service?

I had a Chevy SS and wanted to take it to a local Buick/GMC dealership. I had excellent service from them particularly from the Service Mgr. I talked to them about a minor issue with my Blackwing. The Service Manger was reluctant to take it on so I didn't push the issue. Don

    Totaled?

Wheel is ripped off, would think that will trash or at least seriously damage the differential?

    bug screen

Ah, FL and love bugs. I lived in FL for a number of years, loved cleaning my radiator NOT. Screens are as you said a great thing to have.

    Trunk won’t close

IF nothing else works, use a lot of duct tape and drive on.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

    Right, sure, keep it up.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

What childish stupidity, burn off a few hundred $ off your tires.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

I guess you would say I'm babying the 4BW. ZERO issues of any kind. Oh, yeah, run in often to 100 get radar gunned and maybe a night in jail.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

11,100 miles on my 4BW. Flawless, even gets surprisingly fine mileage. Oh, I guess I could complain about the carbon fiber seat back squeaking. Dealer will fix it in 2 weeks.
