My BW5 (3000 miles) is having an engine issue. It is missing at high RPMs under full throttle. I just went out and recorded a few pulls with the PDR on and have been reviewing that using the GM version of the Cosworth Toolbox. I found it not to be very helpful but you can see the hesitation...
Welcome! I came from an S6 as well but missed my S4 manual so I ordered their love child, a V8, manual Blackwing. 3000 mile later and I love it. Miss some of the touches of the Audi but when slamming gears, none of that matters.
There are some threads on wheel fitment (don't say rims, you would...
It shouldn't. My S6 had it and it really helped on long trips and you couldn't tell when it switched on and off. Totally transparent. I do wish my 5BW 6MT had it. Silly to waste gas on the interstate, need to save it for the fun roads!
You might want the dealer to take a look at the clutch. There have been some reports on the 5bw of the clutch line coming loose and your symptoms could be caused by a clutch that isn't being fully disengaged.
Cadillac, BMW, Porsche and Acura GTP cars are testing Monday - Wednesday at Road Atlanta. They were shown to the public at Petit (except the BMW which was in Ohio having some work done after a Watkins Glenn test). Can't share a few things I know, there are some gremlins but that is what testing...
We had just left Tire Tack and are at the Volcano Italian restaurant in Fort Wayne. Great food!
My 5BW now has its winter shoes. 20” BBS CCR wheels. 9” fronts and 10” rears with Michelin PS All Season tires. 275/30 front and 295/30 rear. I know they aren’t snow tires but most of our winter is...
I do have people sit there and the lack of vents and controls is a BIG issue. No excuse for even the base CT5 not to have b-pillow vents and rear control.
I left my keys in my golf bag once and put the bag in the trunk of my S6. When I tried to shut it, the trunk kept bouncing back open and I thought there was something wrong with the latch. Turns out, Audi somehow sees that the keys are in the truck and doesn't let dummies like me shut the thing...
That makes sense now that you describe it but seems even more worthless. Adaptive cruise control (not available on the MT, a topic beat to death in another thread) is actually the one thing I like for long trips and lane centering is an added bonus. Just seems that if Kia can provide that on a...
I tried it once on my 5BW and it was just as bad. It actually is a little better than my 2018 S6 which was ping-pong city. But the wife's Telluride is amazing. It even handles twisting country roads perfectly. I don't particularly care but for a company that supposedly has some of the best...
I hate to get this thread back on track but :)
Dodge is discontinuing the V8 line of Chargers and Challengers after 2023 and has announced a different way to handle allocations:
"The new models will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis at top-selling Dodge dealerships. The...
I got the scan done at Tire Rack and what they came back with are all 20" wheels. I checked the diameter of the Michelin PS All Season 4 tires I want and in 20" diameter, they are within 1" of the stock diameters.
Like many of you, I prefer a smaller diameter wheel, particularly for winter and...
