I finally bit the bullet and scheduled a full front ppf and ceramic coating for my new Blackwing, but I wanted to see what everyone else was planning on doing!

It looks so good with the carbon fiber... I could have gone with that and not have the pain of taking care of black paint and it would look killer with bronze calipers! Oh well, I'm sure I'll still love mine 😆

Is there any visual difference between front and full ppf?

Should I get full ppf or just full front? Looks like I'll be hitching a ride for the office for a bit lol

Resurrecting this thread, do you guys have ppf lined up? I'm wavering on ppf and ceramic coating and thinking about just using my trusted detailer to wax and maintenance wash it... Am I making a huge mistake for a black car?

Looks so fun, the most I've done is autocross, how much does a track day like that cost?

It's very disappointing, I'd still prefer for them to get it to us sooner rather than get enough trucks, I'm sure the pandemic and lost drivers has something to do why they may use the trains.

Believe it or not I cross shopped this against both the M2, M3 and M4. There is more to price range and horsepower when people are shopping for cars. Automotive journalism and marketing can be really annoying sometimes.

I had a conversation with a chemist who developed coatings for factory car paint, he told me that wax and ceramic coating are both a waste, he says he just double bucket washes it and doesn't dry it due to the scratching that occurs from drying. He said he would do this the day before it rained...

Mine is now picked, no EDD, so definitely something going on at least.
