I went through the exact situation years ago with a Navigator. The kicker for me, I bought it at auction because due to the amount of damage the dealer couldn't sell as new. A brand new 63k Nav for 45k in the end. Man I miss those days of new car prices..

I have more recently become a strong proponent for the afterwash ceramic sprays. Considering the amount of time it takes to wash and dry, an extra five minutes to spray down and wipe off at the end really keeps a shine on the paint much longer. Not to mention the beading properties it offers...

Don't let them sit for too long and it will be easier to clean up.

When I saw your shadow it made me think of my kids making a heart sign that they like to do. Maybe deep down you were as it seems appropriate for the shot. Nice stable.
