    Wisdom of the crowd 2020 CT5 V with 24K

I'm 5'11, 220 lbs. and have a ZL1 1LE. I can't speak to the regular V, but the BW base seats are comfortable for long trips but need more lateral support when pushed. Nothing like the ZLE seats, which are much more supportive. They're also very easy to get in and out of quickly. Mid- level...

Thanks for posting. Not a fan of the base seats but it has some great options

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

Two questions about the high performance seats: 1. Is there a big difference in comfort and bolstering/snugness between the two high performance seat options on long road trips or track time. 2. The massage function on my Escalade turns off after 20 minutes and there's no way to extend the...

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

I believe that's baked in and can't be removed.

    What is it worth?

Is there a consumer product? I went to the site and it seems that it's only geared toward dealers and required sending an inquiry to get pricing after they verify your business.

    What is it worth?

I'm older and not driving a car, time to consider moving on. Good news is the '22 resale benefits from the '23 MSRP price hike. Currently, I'd list it for '22 MSRP and expect a little less. In several months.... hard to say....GM is offering bigger discounts on the CT4-V Blackwing's and just...

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

I know a lot of the Porsche owners that have CCB's and run them at HPDE's swap them for steel and them put them back when they're ready to sell the car. Hmmmm....I didn't think about the programming aspect. If that's the case, it sounds like CCB for street is the way to go for convenience. In...

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

Thanks for the CF1&2 clarification. Love the CF seatbacks, but I'm taking that money and budgeting for the CF1 package for track functionality. I may go with the Black wheels and Red calipers. The Bronze don't disappear like the Black, but painted calipers (other than Grey) help a bit.

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

I was reading some articles that state the CF packages increase downforce in the CT5-V by another 75% but they don't specify if that's CF1 or CF1&2. I know with the CT4-V, CF1 is the one to get. Does this apply to the CT5-V?

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

Here's what I'm thinking as a DD/HPDE build for a 2024. LMK what you think. Summit White, 6MT 1SV - V-Series Blackwing 719 - Seat Belt Color, Black AQJ - Seats, Front Bucket, High-Performance BTH - Steering Wheel, Performance CFZ - Carbon Fiber 1 Package CWM - Technology Package FE9 - Federal...

I’ve found the secret sauce (track pads)

Interesting thread. How hard are you guys driving? I run OEM pads and rotors on my ZLE (same setup as BW) and brake hard and late while driving 8/10's. Barely any rotor wear. The ZLE is not the same weight, so I'm curious.

    CT5-V Slippery Seats on Track

    I haven't yet. Suggestions?

    CT5-V Slippery Seats on Track

I appreciate the tips. Sounds like it works the same as the ZLE but the adjustments for the side bolsters are unique to the Cadillac

    CT5-V Slippery Seats on Track

For the Blackwing owners that don't have full Suede/Alcantara seats, what are you using to stay in place during high G cornering at HPDE's? The OEM high performance leather seats on the CT5-V seem supportive but don't hold me in place as well as my ZLE seats. The CT4-V suede seemed a little...

    CT5-V Trailer Hitch?

Has anyone modded their Blackwing for a trailer hitch? I'd like to pull a tire trailer to HPDE's. Thanks
