That will work, leather shield is what I am using and it wasn't coated until ~ 1500 miles as I drove the car home from PA and put some miles on it before ordering the colourlock. Just clean it real well first
You thinking of Dave A? Lol….I let him take my 5V to TH since I couldn’t make the trip. I DM’d you….have a good contact at TH who set everything up for my car if you really want to make the trip.
Luckily i live in suburban south east Michigan which means only a few big snows a year and quickly plowed streets. This allows me to drive mine year round with snow tires during the cold months. I refuse to drive normal cars and bought the blackwing as the ultimate daily, can’t imagine storing...
Im interested, I’m not even stuck on having valves. I’d much rather retain factory tips (or factory style) than keep the valves personally.
How is it inside the cabin while in track mode? I’ve got two concerns regarding going the headers route and one is that I’ll install the system and be...
$2500 is super cheap compared to true custom wheels. Initial price plus 50% off replacements is a solid deal to me if you’re tracking (wheels are consumables if you do it enough)
Correct. Not custom at all, just a cheap track wheel for those of us that want to run wider stickier tires
Was wondering the same thing, I had mine pulled on my Camaro almost immediately. Definitely made a difference when cruising even in “track” exhaust mode.

When I ran Apex wheels on my Camaro you had to purchase the hub centering rings separate but they're very cheap. I also ran their 3mm spacers and had a square 305 setup which was awesome for track days and tire longevity. Right now their site shows 88 commits in the 19" category which means $300...
I did not take a test drive…. I did however get a ride in a 5. Buddy pulled up, I made sure a car seat fit behind the driver seat comfortably and that I fit with a helmet on. Got back from a quick ride and listed my Camaro for sale the next day lol.
I ran centering rings on my Camaro apex wheels with 0 issues….a bit confused why he’s recommending a 3mm spacer in the rear, et44 already makes the wheel poke like .24” more than stock. Looking at tire options they have the Goodyear SC3 available in 305/30/19 and a 285/35/19. I absolutely loved...
