If you want the numeric status code you have to ask for a human advisor so they can pull up your order. A LOT of the status codes map to the same chatbot response so you have to ask a human. It's the same thing your dealer salesperson can do.
Just a couple nits to pick so far:
The manual says opening just the rear windows can create a pulsing sound. I thought it would be annoying but whatever. Actually it's super loud. I don't know if the ANC system gets involved but it's definitely not something most could stand.
I will need to get...
You put in an order with your dealer. It sits in the system until the dealer gets an allocation. At that time there may be options that are on "constraint." You either drop those options from your order or wait for the next allocation and hope the constraints are lifted. Check the GM order codes...
First real drive after taking delivery yesterday. Hasn't been to the detailer yet so it's got all the dirt from Michigan and points East on it still. It is incredibly hard to stay within break in limits...

You're probably on to something. GM likely doesn't want to pay to get the entire fleet retested with 0W-40 as standard even though 0W-20 contributed to a ton of engine failures.
They must be snorting their lunches because the only "marketing" they seem to have done for either of the CT4 or CT5 since launched is to let a bunch of YouTubers drive them. That may be how you reach a modern audience, but they're missing an entire segment that still primarily consumes...
