I doubt there would be a TSB forthcoming because I haven’t heard of this problem in the LT4. Most likely there is something wrong with your build specifically. If this was happening to me, I would not track the car until resolved. I would locate a reputable tuner shop ASAP and get some logs...

So, I have the ZL1addons one and it fits fine, but I’m not thrilled with the look when it’s on. I ordered a couple of spare tow hook covers from GM parts direct and I’m gonna drill a hole for the receiver to passthru. I’ll post after it’s done.

Have a dozen track days on mine. Sebring, Daytona and FIRM. Temps are rock solid even in July. Are you noticing high temps with the ported blower?

In my experience, they usually do. Seems there is always a lot of safety margin from factory.

I loved it on my Camaro. It was worth 30hp. It's also really easy to find here in Florida. For the LT4, you need a fairly extensive set of mods to keep it safe (injectors, fuel pump, GM FF sensor and a tune).

I 2nd the call to avoid Fabspeed. If they can’t understand there are no downpipes in the Blackwing 5, I probably don’t want to buy a product from them.

Sewell gives you your Blackwing with a full tank of 93. My C6 GS and my SS 1LE were both delivered with 93. Those were the same dealer in Orlando.

OP and others who may reject the 'bad gas' theory. There was recently a sting of sorts here in Florida. About 10 out of the 50 tested stations were selling 87 octane as 93 octane. I'm paranoid enough I only get fuel for mine from Costco or one of two stations I know the 'car crowd' frequents.

The first thing I would suspect is you got bad gas. Try fuel from another source. The Blackwings have Wideband O2 sensors and fast ECU’s. They can adjust to wide range of octane on the fly. They are not ‘tuned for 93’. If your audible pinging went away with higher octane fuel, you may still...

Any observations for the install? Pretty straightforward just tedious?

I hope so...from the website... Each splitter is built to order while being hand laid and shipped from the U.S. Once completed they are clear coated, polished, and come with paint protection film pre-installed.
