Are the pads to the wear sensors yet? Did they say 4mm of pad material or total pad thickness? I just measured my pads as I thought they were kind of low and the backing plate is 6mm thick and I had another ~6mm of pad material and it hadn't started wearing the wear sensors yet. Caveat being...

I was just talking to Heinricy about brake pads and he's running DTC80 front and DTC70 rear with the stock brakes on the 4BW. He also said the Pagid RS29S were good, but couldn't remember what compound they ran in the rear.

I'm also afraid of having to buy a new set of CCB rotors, but I think their life on track remains to be seen. On the V-Club Brembo tech talk the Brembo guy did say that the brakes on the 5BW were a significant step up from prior CCBs on the vette. What that exactly means remains to be seen...

Only the TPC spec is going to have the specific compounds and construction to the Blackwing which is very different from the normal 4S. There are two TPC spec 4S though, one with and without the foam for noise cancellation.
