    2024 MY Cadillac CT4-V / CT5-V Blackwing - What's New!

The new colors suck, with the exception of the red, but now there are two reds on the pallet. I love yellow, but not on this car. Was really wanting an orange car but I guess that won't happen now. So, red or red?? Decisions.... The black looked great on the old Vs, but I don't do black cars.

    Leather or microfiber steering wheel/shifter?

I wear racing gloves when I'm on track. Those tend to get grimy quickly. My racecar has an Alcantara steering wheel. It replaced a momo Alcantara that had all the fuzz worn off. After reading all these reviews, I'm actually leaning to leather.

    Leather or microfiber steering wheel/shifter?

Are there other Alcantara pieces in the interior? I'm really starting to lean towards the leather. I have seen some pics of it and I think I like it better.

    Leather or microfiber steering wheel/shifter?

I know that the microfiber can often wear off and end up not so great. Are you guys sticking with the leather or getting the option? Car will be a manual - so lots of shifting. I don't have personal experience with microfiber in a high wear application like a steering wheel. So I welcome your...

CT4-V Windshield Replacement Woes (Don't be like Me)

Safelite was insanely expensive when I called them a few years ago to replace a windshield on another vehicle. Local shop got me a brand named one (OEM supplier) for literally 1/4 of the Safelite quote. Windshields are a wear item - no need for an OEM one.

    Blackwing Constraints Tracker

Like you, I'm going to wait for the CF stuff. I almost spit out my coffee yesterday when my dealer incorrectly told me that I was at 3000. Thought I'd get it soon-ish for a second and then double checked that I'm still at 1100. Honestly, I'm ok getting pushed to another MY as the color...

Blackwing Order Tracking - 2023 Model Year

Looks like I just actually joined the fun. Actually got a order number and now at 1100. (I'm also #13 on another dealers list for the folks waiting on CF1 & 2). That doesn't mean that the dealer has an actual allocation, right? Just that I'm now officially in the system, right?

    Blackwings and Watches

Never ever ever ever never leave a firearm in a vehicle. Ever. Never. Best anti theft device in your car? A manual transmission. 😂

I agree. I prefer some understated designs. But if you love it, you should get it.

    Blackwings and Watches

I've always been a Dave Grissom fan and his playing introduced me to PRS. No one does maple tops like PRS. I've maxed out on the guitars I want but there's always a spot for a PRS if I can find one I like. Now if I can just get my hands on the BW!

I agree with those saying seiko. I have turtle and a 5, both mechanical. The turtle was $250ish and the 5 was 135. Amazing quality for the money.

Dealers That Are Not Charging Above MSRP

Market is definitely softening up. I suspect that non carbon allocations are relatively plentiful. Lots of dealers are getting cars in that are not pre sold. Carbon cars are the bottleneck.
