    Spring Mountain Impressions

Just noticed this thread. Great posts. I purchased my V series used and was wondering if Spring Mountain was worth the out of pocket expenses. This answers my question.

    TPMS sensor part #?

I haven't personally confirmed, but that sensor should work. GM states 84977020 for the sensor and 84413358 for the nut. Go this route to be 100% compatible.

Anybody swapping tires/wheels for track days? TPMS question

Try searching part number: 13554170 It's currently around $22 at Rockauto and should work for your application. GM states part numbers 84977020 for the sensor and 84413358 for the nut. Go this route if you want exactly what's in the OEM wheels.

    Used Value Trend

Unfortunately those sites don't take the Carbon Fiber packages and most premium options into account. Unless you have a sunroof and some lower cost options, forget trade-in. Private party sale is the way to go.

Aftermarket or Hacked Remote Start - Manual Transmissions

I've only used the ebrake, except on a hill. To prevent stress on the transmission, I make sure to set the brake before putting into gear.

How I made the wireless charging pad more predictable

Thanks for posting. It's a nice solution if you don't share the charger. What type of glue?

Aftermarket or Hacked Remote Start - Manual Transmissions

I put a remote start in my manual transmission Nissan and Acura. Easy to do and was great to get the car warmed up in the winter. That said, it requires the driver to be mindful and not put it in gear and accept the consequences if it is. I forgot one time, but it wasn't a big deal. The ebrake...

What's wrong with the forum format?

I'm seeing the same thing. Tried FireFox, Chrome, and Edge on my Win11 laptop. I can get to the other forums on the site if I type in the URL. For example: www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/forums/v-series-cadillacs-for-sale-wanted.22/

GM Press Release: Introducing the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing

My suggestion would be to buy one from inventory with similar specs so you get your PDR. If it's not that important, keep it and get a Garmin Catalyst. With the current market, you'll be able to get a '23/'24 or '25 for MSRP or less.

GM Press Release: Introducing the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing

I like what they did with front fascia and dashboard. I always liked the CT6 front end. PDR updates are awesome! I'll need to sit in one to see how it feels. All my friends said there wouldn't be a '25 refresh and I feel vindicated. GM is too greedy to let it fade out after only 3 years. Add...

People with the Sky Cool Gray seats; any regrets?

I was really worried about they grey considering everyone in my family wears jeans. It great to see that it's easy to clean.

What made you choose a Blackwing and what else did you consider?

The GR Corolla is a really fun car to drive. If I lived somewhere with better roads and could get over the cheap interior I would own one. The MR2 supercharged and especially the turbo's were fun cars but talk about snap oversteer....almost killed myself before I learned how to handle...

What made you choose a Blackwing and what else did you consider?

I was banned from a local Subaru store when I was in my 20's because I didn't buy the WRX I test drove in the rain. Never exceeded the capability of the car and I thought it was a mostly sedate drive but I was told the sales guy was traumatized. I guess it's all a matter of perspective :)

    Dark/Night Mode During The Day

My '23 Escalade does it right by allowing brightness adjustment in the daytime and the LED's behind the HVAC controls always look perfect regardless of day or night. Since Cadillac doesn't want to fix the software in the CT4, I was thinking of ways to get around this terrible implementation and...

What made you choose a Blackwing and what else did you consider?

My '99 Integra GS-R was really fun to track with the Comptech RSB. Very neutral with a touch of oversteer when the endlinks were adjusted correctly. My '02 GTI was the same way but the turbo wasn't as fun as the high revving B series motor. However, adding some APR tuning really woke up the 1.8T

What made you choose a Blackwing and what else did you consider?

@BW56M I would agree on all points and I'm in my 50's. Loved the '19 GT350. Almost bought it, but went with the a '19 ZLE since it was mostly going to be used for track days. The Ford was superior as a DD. The BMW grills are ridiculous. I really wanted an M3 CS with MT, but the BMW execs decided...
