Installed the harness purchased from this page: Cadillac XT5.
I used the install video found here:
I am pretty unhandy, and could not get one of the clips loose on the small cover that allows the whole thing to slide out, but the entire cover slid back easily, and I just worked around it...
To be fair - this looks to be a used car that was flipped twice already. The warranty on it is already almost 9 months in. The people flipping them are the ones heavily contributing to this insanity, as dealers see flippers make the money and think why should it not be them. Just like the '08...
Confirming that I had a fantastic experience at Crown Cadillac in terms of MSRP pricing, being able to use my own financing, and no pushy tactics or surprises. I don't usually buy extras, but I felt grateful and got some insurance products from them. That said, mine was the only 2022 5BW they...
True. Probably it is the splitter then. That is where they have the star on the diagram. But it doesn't seem that low, so maybe overly cautious warning.
Oh, interesting. My go to wash is a high volume hand wash but cars go through the line on a track. Never really had issues there, but I guess I should not risk it with this one. Probably the tire is just too wide for it.
I wonder what those two velcro spots in the right compartment are actually intended for - only BW have the shipping blocks, but I saw pictures of the same straps on regular CT5s, so assuming it is not for them. Nitros? Fire Extinguisher? Costco Vodka bottle?
If anyone is in the market for a 4BW auto with Carbon 1&2, my dealer in NJ has a red one on the showroom floor: New Car 2022 Red Cadillac CT4-V 4dr Sdn Blackwing For Sale in New Jersey | 1G6D75RP0N0410687
They said if it is a local customer, it is MSRP. (Ask for Wes).
I could not find anything even though the manual talks about using Winter tires. I am disappointed Cadillac did not work with an OEM to ensure the car is usable in cold climates. Even my Lotus Evora has an OEM recommended tire that you can get as an OEM part, even though it is not generally...
Do you have a link to the 265 size? I don't even even seem on Pirelli's website. I see 275/295 options but they are different OEM brands Mercedes/Aston for 275 and Porsche/Lambo for 295 so would be different compounds front/rear.
I also had a Golf R as my daily ('19 Ginster Yellow) that I sold about a year ago. Kind of wishing I kept it given no real winter tire options for the V. I am probably just going to get another car for winter driving - I am in line for an Acura Integra at the moment. If that falls through, I...
860537, 4B00 with 7/23 EDD. It was sitting at 4D00 since being built in early May until late last week. Ordered 8/1, had my order cancelled out in the system twice for unexplained reasons, finally third order picked up in December for a 1/3 TPW, and has been breaking my heart with every estimate...
