I put snow tires on the OEM Caddy wheels. I used Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 255/35/18 front and rear, worked fantastic. Recommended by TireRack specifically.
4BW with about 12K miles. I, too, noticed my break pads squeaking more now. Never noticed it until recently that weather is nicer and I have the windows down.
I.....drive my Blackwing all year round with snow tires/summer tires. No need for a winter car, and it's not boring! My two cents...just drive it unless you need to have a second car.

Any initial impressions, sound changes, etc? I'm debating buying a similar set up as I want it to look stock and have a matching intake cover/engine cover.
So I hope this helps others. I purchased my CT4BW in May 2022. I tried to sign up for Spring Mountain last year but it was always booked and I didn't pursue it much; thought I had lots of time. Went online today and it's still booked up. I now know there's a one year timeframe from delivery...
Unfortunately never had a change to test drive a 4 or 5 Blackwing as the dealerships were not allowing this. Couldn't even test drive the 2022 BMW M3 I was cross shopping either, and I was a current BMW owner! Ended up with the 4BW after watching numerous video reviews and reading magazine...
Bought my 4BW May 2022. Dealer tried to make me pay $5K markup right before signing paperwork after we negotiated in email that MSRP would be price. I told them I'll walk out on the deal. She called me an hour later and said "ok we'll do MSRP as we agreed". I was absolutely ready to walk...
I don't have a CT5 BW but...In my CT4 BW I have two forward facing car seats. My wife and I are 5'2" and 5'7" respectively with more than enough front seat room. Given the CT5 is bigger wheelbase and large back seats, I think you'll be just fine.
May have been mentioned before, but I very much hate the proximity passive entry system. When you approach the car it senses the key fob. You have to press the silver button on the door handle to unlock the car, THEN pull the handle to open the door. If you don't hit the silver button you...
Tequila lover chiming in here. El Tesoro, Forteleza, Amor Mio, Don Fullano, etc. I sip on good blanco's or anejo's especially when doing my model building projects.
Interested in these; the ones I bought from Amazon for $30 are annoying me as they seem to pocket snow instead of letting it slide off. Any close up images of how they are installed? Original hardware uses? Not sure how I feel about double sided tape holding up to Michigan snow/winters...
Rear splash guards holding up to Michigan winter's well, helps keep the rear lower bumper clean too. I purchased mine from Amazon, used the rear set only (front didn't fit anyway). Relatively inexpensive at $30-40, and easy install. I say go for it.
So a question for Tapout: I'm seriously contemplating purchasing this intake. I'm mildly handy, have basic tools at home, but by no means a mechanic. Do you have any install videos or list of tools required for someone like me to install this at home? Appreciate the advice.
