    Here in the Chicagoland area, I do winter tires on by November 1st, and off after mid May. Haven't had any issues... Knock on wood... I got Porsche spec Pirelli Sottozeros 295/30 for the rear.

    I do have some, but I don't think it's a good idea with all salt. I'll need to find a nearby place where I can rinse all that off first.

    I remember hearing about the dreaded skip shift in GM cars. When thinking about the BW, I was worried it might still have that, but was so thankful it doesn't.

    CT5-V engine surge / "porpoising"

    Same. The cooling might be too good on this car. Took over 4 miles on the highway to get up to 180°F. In the winter, for the vast majority of my driving, I might never get up to temp.
