Here in the Chicagoland area, I do winter tires on by November 1st, and off after mid May. Haven't had any issues... Knock on wood...

Same. The cooling might be too good on this car. Took over 4 miles on the highway to get up to 180°F. In the winter, for the vast majority of my driving, I might never get up to temp.
