Those instructions could certainly be better with much better photos. Like removing clips, show a before photo of what it looks like and how its mounted, then show it "removed"... whether this means just releasing the line from it or actually prying the entire clip off which can be a nightmare...
Looks fantastic, I just hope the company makes those subtle changes to the wheel to make it a real plug and play operation with no trimming on a Blackwing.
Thanks, Im mounting a positive eyelet in that spot for a battery tender that requires some of that plastic housing to be trimmed. Much easier to trim with it removed than secured to the car.
Ill take a pic shortly to show you where the positive and negative jumper posts are under the hood
Has anyone had any luck with removing this plastic top off over the cars positive connections?
Theres a single, easily accessible, release along the backside but the front of the cover quickly jams up and wont lift straight up. I can only assume theres another hidden release along the front...
I'm going through this process right now as well. I believe its best to connect any tender directly to the battery terminals, unfortunately the positive terminal is shrouded in some overly complex plastic work.
Judging from the photos some of you have had luck removing the top plastic cap...
