Went ahead and pulled the trigger on Sottozeros last week, Will be mounting them on a second set of oem wheels. Not sure the car will see much snow but I like to drive my cars when cold and dry. 295/30 rears and had to go to the 255 fronts since the 265s are no longer available. Some of the...
I spoke to them on the phone a few weeks ago and they confirmed they will have valves. Based on what they said they should be available for order in the next month or two!
Just an FYI - In preparation for an HPDE at Mid Ohio this weekend I realized my front pads were pretty low so I tossed in a new set. Obviously with a fixed caliper the pads are easy in and out - what I had a bit of a struggle with was the sensors. First, they plug in behind the wheel well liner...
Did the exact same thing after a round of golf Sunday….but I was able to still unlock/open the drivers door. Panicked for a second, then realized I could’ve used my Cadillac app easily if needed.
Definitely experiencing the sleeper effect with my BW (Which I don't mind) but is a bit surprising to me considering I'm in SE Michigan. Its funny the car usually gets very little attention but it seems every time my wife rides with me someone calls it out. Best reaction yet was a young kid at...
Curious to see if anything comes of this….My car ate a spark plug in cylinder 6 (Same as C&D) and was throwing all kinds of CELs and idling rough. Thankfully a new spark plug solved the issue and my engine didn’t go boom lol. Happened at around 3k miles, car had already been tracked two full...
Not a chance I would’ve purchased without the option for a manual. Bought mine as the ultimate “dadmobile” and figured it would be the last chance in my lifetime to own a new car like this. Probably would’ve ended up with an f80 m3 daily and a zl1 or grand sport track toy instead.
Yes sir, used z26 compound at the recommendation of the forums/fb pages. Car was a 18 scat pack with factory 6 piston brake upgrade. Properly bedded according to Powerstop’s directions too. Buddy tried same pads in his 1LE for non track use and had a similar experience. Maybe it’s just me or my...
Have you actually driven on those pads? I tried them on my 392 charger and HATED them. Went back to OEM pads and ceramic coated the wheels and just dealt with the dust…..instant brake fade on hard stops over 60mph
kind of......Originally I was supposed to get a new set of rears, they had difficulty getting the TPC spec so they mounted fresh non tpc PS4S for the shoot and re-mounted the OEM tires afterwards.
I was thinking the same thing lol.
Haven’t decided yet…. I got a list of sizes that worked for the development cars so I gave those to my tire guy and basically said see what you can find. Sottozero II are my plan but we will see. Really bummed Michelin Alpin pa4/5 don’t come in viable sizes. I absolutely loved those tires on my...
Chris did, just off camera. My best friend saw they were looking for a Blackwing and connected us. Sadly I didn't even get to go to the shoot; my best friend (GM guy who actually worked on BW) took the car. On the phone you can tell Greg who sets everything up is a real car guy and is super nice...
Yeah, that's my car below lol. James, Thomas, and Chris Harris all signed it. I was hoping the video was more Blackwing and that Chris would've been driving but it is what it is.
