5BW 6sp - have you changed your shift knob?

Good catch, thank you. And I guess it makes sense that a Camaro shift knob has the same recessed ring at the bottom for the shift boot to attach?

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

Thank you for the plug how to! Anyone else get a message something like "EMERGENCY SERVICE CALLING"? I'm not sure the exact wording - I was in traffic on the freeway. There was no ringing or dial tone or anything so I hit the steering wheel button to stop it.

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

Fob hacking is VERY real in the Mopar world here in the US. I feel like for Range Rovers up until a couple of years ago, too, when JLR changed their system to make it harder.

    R33 GTR as 4BW companion?

Heck yes to a Tommi Makinen Evo! I agree with a lot of you guys about the S2000s. I test drove them back when they were new and I never understood the appeal. Absolute dogs until big revs, chassis wasn't nearly as good as the magazines had me thinking, brakes overheated pretty easily, plus I...

    How to get more WHINE!!

Come on, JLT - bring out that intake that doesn't require a re-tune and gives us some whine!

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

Is there a how-to for disabling the module that I missed?

    R33 GTR as 4BW companion?

An R33 would be such a completely different flavor of car within the 'sports car' genre that I think it would an excellent addition to your 4BW. So would an Evo 6 or similar (says me, a guy who has owned an Evo 8 and 2 Evo Xs).

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

If anyone has disabled OnStar on a 5BW, I would love some education as to how it's done . . .

Cadillac Smart Driver and Privacy Concerns

I also very specifically never opted in when I got the car in November but I just checked and it just showed me with it on. Total BS from GM/Cadillac/Onstar. So now I need to check in every so often to make sure it hasn't turned back on. Ridiculous.

5BW 6sp - have you changed your shift knob?

Can someone please tell me if our shift knob is compatible with Camaro ZL1 knobs? I prefer completely round shift knobs and am trying to figure out what I can use. Any help and tips would be appreciated! Thank you.

    CT5-V EQ settings

What is this radio thing of which you speak? (In all seriousness, I have messed with the settings a little but, overall, the sound system seems pretty poor to my ears for this price of car. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.)

Climate control - fan blows super hard initially?

Thank you guys for confirming that it's not malfunctioning. I have owned a lot of cars and I have never had one that was so aggressive with the blower speed when set on auto so I was worried it was not functioning correctly. Oh, and I did mess with that setting in the menu but it didn't fix...

Climate control - fan blows super hard initially?

That makes me feel a little better - thank you!

Climate control - fan blows super hard initially?

Sorry if this has been discussed but I couldn't find a thread about it. No matter the weather - cold, hot, mild - when I have my climate control set on auto (usually 69 degrees), the fan blows at MAX for a little while and then eventually calms down to a much slower speed (after maybe 30...

5BW - am I crazy for wanting more initial brake bite on the iron rotors?

Yes, thank you - I have bought many pads from him over the years for a bunch of cars. He really is a great resource.

5BW - am I crazy for wanting more initial brake bite on the iron rotors?

Thank you for the feedback. Looking at the Hawk charts, I feel like maybe one step up from the 5.0 might be what I am looking for.

    5BW daily driver

It is surprisingly friendly for a car with such huge hp, even with temps down into the 40s on the OE sticky tires. I love driving mine to work, to the grocery store, anywhere. Great with passengers, too. It rides really well, too, even in V mode. Mileage? Yeah it gets miles per gallon...

Looking at a new CT4-V Blacking - Anyone bought one recently?

That's great! Congratulations! That color looks really good on the 4.
