Yes track shield. Opens lower portion of rotor to more airflow. The deflector in control arm needs to stay not track only. I am really worried how confusing this topic is to dealers. There is instructions in the bag and owners to not do anything to the brakes during PDI.
The 'mero moves man, love that car. Its gutted not even an IP in it, one seat rear roll cage welded, all stock ls3 motor but it goes. 500+ lbs removed and lots of chassis and suspension mods.
oh and that hood vent I dremmeled in lol.
The steering wheel was NOT codeveloped with cosworth. Missunderstood media write up. We used the cosworth wheels from the race cars (dpi, ats-v R etc) to get inspiration on cluster/hud shiftlights and obviously adding controls to wheel. PDR is codeveloped with Cosworth and is also where race...
Man really sorry to hear and see this. I would just aporoach it with dealer as a special car and this being a big deal, asking if they can give you a new bumper and wuite that cost, work a deal out. Hope they understand you did nothing wrong and you explained dont drill holes and they missed...
Hunter, all depends how you will use car and its something you have to check out with wheel shops. I cant comment on wiggle room without specifically getting into a project here. All tires are different for same size spec, all vary some, and some by many milimeters in width or od. I dont have...
Blackwings are being built as fast as possible. there is no difference first 250 or after. Obviously based on VIN the 250 have to go first and almost there The team over at LGR knows what they are doing and are doing their best, no question there.
I am not at the factory and havent been for a bit, however we still talk as a team on making sure cars are shipped, built etc with all the challenges . As stated V-Series Blackwings are building and Rob can see statuses change. Some will change tomorrow/Monday and others next week.
Hahaha sorry I just hd a bit of therapy in my car. I really thought I would have more time in my hands this time of year to put miles in it and hit the track. Track day is this weekend I am at 350 miles 🥺 will drive it there just to break it in and watch my buddies track, camping is always a...
Tx man, Ungwei what did yours tell you, was it air induction?
CT4, as soon as its back hve dealer read code could be as silly as a connector loose on MAF or simil
Danny is the man, love that guy. He is with quality at LGR and one of our most experienced team members there that thought me a lot too. He was key to making these unique plaques and riveted badges happen.
Mark manor is with the paint team at LGR, worked his behind off to get these ready. Buffa is part of the team that designed the clutch system for the blackwings. Congrats to all on the cars!!!!!
